Description

This module displays a list of articles. With the help of different settings, you can customize the appearance of this module and type of content displayed by this module at the front-end. For example, you can include additional category and article list. In addition, you can display a list of articles in various views by setting the "Menu type" parameter.

Enter the ids of the articles, which  you want to list at the front-end.

Client

Dropdown

Set which client's article will be displayed in module. You may display articles which was added from Resources only, from Groups layouts, or both clients. Client means Resources or Group, i.e. from which layout article was added Resources or Touch Groups.

User strict

Radio button (Yes, No, Smart)

If set "Yes" then module displays articles of current logged in user. "Smart" means that module displays articles of current logged in user and displays all articles if user non logged in.

Show article title

Radio button (Yes, No, Not linkage)

Set whether module displays articles titles or not. "Not linkage" position means that article title is displayed but without link to full article view.

Char count to limit title

Displays only first N chars of the articles titles. If set 0 then article titles are not cut.

Show continue points(...)

If set "Yes" then content list module returns articles with the same tags as current viewing article, i.e. you need activate this parameter for modules are displayed on full articles view page only.

Order

Show only featured articles

Dropdown (No, Yes, On Top)

No - show article independently from featured status;
Yes - display only featured articles;
On top - display featured articles first and other articles after featured.

Hit Period

Dropdown

Count hit period for "Most visited" ordering, i.e. it takes place only if "Order" parameter is set to "Most visited" position.

Time parameter

Dropdown

Display articles against creation and expire dates. You set to show only: active articles, expired, future or all records independently from creation and expiration date.

Show 'View More Articles'

Radio button

Display "View More Articles" button at he end of articles list or not.

Show item title

Define article's title position.

Max content number

Set maximum articles number to be displayed in the module.

Offset

define articles order offset, for instance, you need display 2 content_list modules with the same parameters and you do not want that users see the same articles in both modules, you set 0 for the first content list and "Max content number" + 1 for Offset parameter of the second module, ie.e users will see first N records in the first module and next N records in the second module.

Enter the text to be displayed after the article list.

Attention: You may create custom template for content_list module. Just go to 'modules\mod_jsc_content_list\tmpl\' directory and make copy of default.php script. then you may set new template for content_list module under "Advanced Parameters" tab - parameter "Template".
