JoomSuite Inbox allows registered front-end users to customize the layout of their Inbox using Views Manager. For example, users can select whether the 'date' column will be displayed in the list of messages in Inbox.

Creating Views

To create a view:

1. Visit your JoomSuite Inbox. For more information, refer to Messaging.

2. Click the Select View drop-down list and select Views Manager [1], as shown in the following figure:

On selecting Views Manager from the Select View drop-down list, the Views Manager page appears:

3. Click the New button in the Views Manager page. The New View page appears:

The Global parameter, shown in the above figure, is available only for the Administrator. While creating a view, if the Administrator sets the Global parameter to 'yes' then the view appears in the Select View drop-down list in the Inbox page of each user. Users cannot edit or delete this view.

4. Enter the required information in the sections, such as General, View, Show Messages, and Sort Messages.  For more information regarding the parameters of these sections, see Understanding View Parameters.

5. Click the Save or Apply button to create the view.

Editing Views

You can edit only the views, which you have created. You cannot edit the views that are created by Administrator and set as Global.

To edit a view:

1. Visit your JoomSuite Inbox. For more information, refer to Messaging.

2. Click the Select View drop-down list and select Views Manager. The Views Manager page appears.

3. Select the check box corresponding to the view you want to edit and click the Edit button. The Edit View page appears:

4. Edit the required information in the sections, such as General, View, Show Messages, and Sort Messages.  For more information regarding the parameters of these sections, see Understanding View Parameters.

5. Click the Save or Apply button to save edited the information.

Deleting Views

You can delete only the views, which you have created. You cannot delete the views that are created by Administrator and set as Global.

To delete a view:

1. Visit your JoomSuite Inbox. For more information, refer to Messaging.

2. Click the Select View drop-down list and select Views Manager in the MyInbox page. The Views Manager page appears.

3. Select the check box corresponding to the view you want to delete and click the Remove button [1], as shown in the following figure:

The selected view is deleted.
