Creating Folders

To create a folder:

1. Visit your JoomSuite Inbox. For more information, refer to Messaging.

2. Click the Folders button. Click New folder [1] from the context menu, as shown in the following figure:

3. Enter the required information in the New folder pop-up window. For more information on the fields of the New folder pop-up window, see Table 1. Click the Save or Apply button shown in the following figure:

The Global parameter, shown in the above figure, is available only for the Administrator. While creating a folder, if the Administrator sets the Global parameter to 'yes' then the folder appears at Inboxes of each user, and they cannot edit or delete it.

Editing Folders

You can edit only the folders, which you have created. You cannot edit system-defined folders, such as Inbox, Draft, Sent, Junk, and Trash. Also, you cannot edit the folders that are created by Administrator and set as Global.

To edit a folder:

1. Visit your JoomSuite Inbox. For more information, refer to Messaging.

2. Click the Folders button. The list of available folders appear in the drop-down menu.

3. Click the Folder Edit button [1] corresponding to the folder you want to edit, as shown in the following figure:

4. Edit the folder information in the New folder page, as per your requirements.

5. Click the Save or Apply button to save the changes.

Deleting Folders

You can delete only the folders, which you have created. You cannot delete system-defined folders, such as Inbox, Draft, Sent, Junk, and Trash. Also, you cannot delete the folders that are created by Administrator and set as Global.

To delete a folder:

1. Visit your JoomSuite Inbox. For more information, refer to Messaging.

2. Click the Folders button. The list of available folders appear in the drop-down menu.

3. Click the Folder Remove button [1] corresponding to the folder you want to delete, as shown in the following figure:

3. Click the OK button in the confirmation message to delete the folder.

The folder is deleted.

Moving Messages

To move a message:

1. Visit your JoomSuite Inbox. For more information, refer to Messaging.

2. Select the check box corresponding to the message you want to move and click the Move button. The list of available folders appear in the drop-down menu.

3. Click the folder to which you want to move the selected message. In this scenario, the message is to be moved to Folder Restore [1], as shown in the following figure:

The selected message moves into the desired folder.
